Activists from NRA Members' Councils all across California meet each week, in places like this pizza parlor, to write letters to their elected representatives.

Demonstrating a passion for saving the Second Amendment, these volunteers take valuable time away from their families to hand-write their elected representatives so that their voice will be heard.

These letter writers are from The NRA Members' Council of East Contra Costa County. The local elected officials know them well.

Hard at work and not a slice of left-over pizza in sight.

They don't quit until every letter is written and the issues are covered in detail.

These Members' Council members meet in a local restaurant. Many restaurants have back rooms or banquet rooms that are very useful to use as meeting or special purpose facilities.

To assist the volunteers with expenses, these letter writers got the first five dollars of their dinner bill paid by The NRA Members' Council of the Long Beach Area.

That's a great deal for all!

Gatherings like this only add to NRA's considerable political muscle.
